Thanksgiving 2011 with Taylor's family

If I thought it was difficult to remember all the names of Mona's family 34 years ago when we met I guess I wasn't aware that it might happen again, this time with Taylor's.  Mona and I were invited for Thanksgiving, we went, had a great time, everyone loved Mona and I was allowed to stay the entire time.  A large victory for me but I should have taken more photos to use as flash cards later.

Los Arboles Tulum lot for sale

Our lot, F-3 in Los Arboles Tulum, Mexico is for sale.  Go to www.losarbolestulum.com to see complete information on this unique opportunity in this prized development.  We were one of the first people to buy a lot and one of the first US citizens to close on this great lot and location.  Family considerations have forced us to change our plans to build so we are are offering this 5 acre parcel for sale.

If you don't know about, or if you do know about LAT,  please go to their website to get complete information about this off the grid development in the Yucatan.  The sales team and management are very familiar with us and our lot.  Please direct all inquiries about lot F-3 to the team at  www.losarbolestulum.comAs a side note we purchased this lot when the prices were set much lower for initial investors. You could now save a substantial amount over the current listed prices. Sales are close to complete and building is being done on many lots. There are still some fine lots available but we selected this one years ago because of the location and surroundings.   Get ahold of Cameron or Greg through the LAT site for more info on lot F-3.

3oth anniversary with Tay and Chase

30 years on 7 Nov 2011.  Went out for sushi,
Mona took a few days off and we started our 31st year.

As usual visiting with Chase, and Tay, was actually as eventful as celebrating our anniversary.  Good times.

Back of the house

I decided to dig out some garbage and the old 4x4 trailer out of the junk pile.  This "white devil" appeared and I ran like a little girl. Mr possum was living in the old nail barrel I assume.  Removed the trailer and put the tarp over the pile.  See you in the spring  fellow.

Another "free" project.  The "fire escape" was removed and I took it apart, ground off the concrete bolts, hauled it up the path on the golf cart and am using it for a storage platform.  The idea of an escape route was good but even I have fallen off the rear of this and slid into the house. I often wondered who would do the same during a fire.  The construction was solid and totally pops.
