Something to do when it is too hot to do anything.

P.S. usually comes at the end...but p.s. the trash weight of the last dumpster was 7 tons..one before was about 5.5.. misc comes in about 3...or close to 30,000 lbs total hauled out so far..trees not included. I would say overall, with everything, siding..roofing..all of downstairs..garage..all furniture..rugs...bath and more...it would come out to be an unbelieveable total of over 50 tons before finished.  At $60 per ton and $225 per haul......that would be about $5000 over the next few years. What ever happened to driving to the dump, shoot a few rats, grab a few parts for an appliance at home that needs help and throwing it all away of the about for $200?

Six trips to lime-kiln hill with the cart....bringing some rock from the Grove...constructing a new rear wall...sitting for hours using a hose and wire brush on an electric drill to clean stones...using concrete to secure the top layer..no filling the front gaps..then fabric and back fill...later lowering the grade 12 inch's to set the patio.  It's good to have "coolie" and scavenging skills.

Got 95 blocks for free.  Dug out 30 inches of sand, sealed rear wall, patched holes, changed the drainage...now hope for the best.

I am not sure why this pipe was exposed, under the washing machine, it has since been filled in, but most of the water and dirt that entered the house prob came from here and flowed to living room etc.

A short course on how to located water bars and haul rr ties out of the van and up the hill.
